Hello. I’m Pierre-Alexandre Poirier, a strategic and interaction designer based in Montréal. I specialize in visual and non-visual digital interface design, as well as service design. Since opening my little studio in late 2014, I’ve designed mobile tools for small businesses with Desjardins, helped design and develop Yieldmo’s website (twice already!) and worked on a project with gsmprjct˚.

Prior to that, I worked for four years at IDEO, a global design an innovation consultancy. There, I was part of multi-disciplinary teams creating innovative digital experiences for clients across many industries. Most projets are, sadly, still in development and quite confidential.

But, good news! A few projects I’ve contributed to at IDEO are public, including Society of Grownups (Mass Mutual, 2013), Paying for College (CFPB, 2012), Cashflow Insight, (PNC Bank, 2011) and Aimsweb (Pearson, 2010).

I hold a masters degree in interaction design from the world-renowned and very northern Umeå Institute of Design, and a bachelors degree in industrial design from Université de Montréal.
